Our client, a medical product company, was growing at a rapid pace and needed to quickly mature processes and supporting technologies. Experient was asked to document and evaluate all end-to-end processes and the technical architecture.
Approach
We documented and evaluated the end-to-end processes from the procurement of raw materials to the provision of the product to the customer via retail store or delivery. Processes documented and evaluated included: material procurement, logistics, planning, forecasting, manufacturing, store operations and customer logistics. The documented processes and assessment were the foundation for developing a series of quick-fix opportunities along with an 18-month roadmap for maturing processes to meet the needs of the business.
